About The Position

This position is for a Paraprofessional at Harrison at Madison Elementary School, working with Kindergarten through 5th grade students. The role involves supervising students and working with them individually or in group settings under the direction of professional staff. The position is 5.5 hours per day and pays $16.25/hr.

Requirements

• Two year post secondary education or Paraeducator certificate or qualifying score on NCRC assessment test required.
• Willingness to assume responsibility.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Flexibility in working with classroom teachers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Enjoy working with young people.
• Ability to effectively supervise students while maintaining a positive relationship with them.
• Regular attendance.
