About The Position

Mid America Health is seeking a part-time General Dentist to provide portable dental services to children at local schools in the Kansas City, Missouri area. The position is 2–3 days per week, Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Supplies, equipment, and support staff are provided. A full-time opportunity is also available. The role offers compensation of 32% of billed production for school clinic days, with a stated daily average earned of $1,500 or more, travel reimbursement, and a 401(k). Malpractice coverage is provided by Mid America Health. Requirements

• Proficiency in all listed areas of dental care.
• Current Missouri Dental License.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers.
• Must be Medicaid Certified or willing to become certified.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care during school clinic days.
• Conduct initial screenings.
• Conduct comprehensive oral exams.
• Establish treatment plans.
• Perform extractions.
• Provide fillings.
• Provide stainless steel crowns.
• Provide fluoride treatments.
• Provide sealants.
• Provide prophys.
