About The Position

Eastern Dental is seeking a patient-focused General Dentist to care for patients at its established, multi-specialty practice in Woodbury Heights, New Jersey. The dentist will use a comprehensive approach to full-service dentistry and provide clinically sound, compassionate care. This is a part-time position working 2–3 days per week. Compensation is a guaranteed hourly rate or a percentage of collections, whichever is higher.

Requirements

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited U.S. dental school.
Active New Jersey State Dental License in good standing.
Ability to be credentialed with insurance providers and governmental insurance programs.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in performing regular checkups and dental procedures.
Critical thinking, decision-making, active listening, and complex problem-solving skills.
Ability to provide a caring and supportive environment for patients.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat patients with oral diseases.
Provide general dentistry treatments and services with clinically sound and compassionate care.
Educate patients about oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
Monitor patient progress and maintain treatment records.
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and dental board procedures.
Work with staff to provide quality patient care services.
Address clinical issues promptly and accurately.
Provide patients with the highest quality of care.
