About The Position

Summer Dental Shawnee is looking for a General Dentist to join Dr. Colin Young and the team. This practice offers a busy patient base, opportunities for clinical growth, and the ability to practice dentistry independently. The ideal candidate, holding a DDS or DMD, can be an experienced dentist looking to join an established patient base or a new graduate seeking mentorship. The role provides clinical autonomy, strong patient flow, hands-on mentorship, and opportunities for continuous skill development. The position focuses on comprehensive dentistry, including full-mouth examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care. The dentist will also be responsible for educating patients, discussing treatment options, and creating personalized treatment plans. The role involves working with a supportive team including an Office Manager, Hygienists, Patient Coordinators, and Dental Assistants.

Requirements

DDS or DMD degree.
Ability to practice dentistry independently.
Willingness to learn and grow clinically.
Strong patient relationship building skills.

Responsibilities
