About The Position

The General Cleaner provides janitorial services in an office setting on a part-time evening schedule, Monday through Friday from 5 PM to 8 PM, with no weekends. The role involves cleaning and disinfecting using 4M’s practices, green-seal-certified supplies, and equipment. Duties may vary and the description is representative only.

The cleaner serves as a reliable, courteous, and resourceful frontline team member, maintains the cleanliness of surfaces and floors, removes trash, replenishes restroom supplies, and reports facility issues such as repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips. The role pays $15 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required.
• Must successfully complete drug screening and a background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices with green-seal-certified supplies and equipment.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs and replacements, as well as leaks and drips, when noticed.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
