About The Position

The General Cleaner is a part-time evening role working Monday through Friday. The scheduled hours are Monday and Wednesday, 5:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.–11:30 p.m.; Thursday, 5:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m.; and Friday, 5:30 p.m.–12:30 a.m. Extra hours are available during tax season, January 1 through April 1.

The cleaner is a frontline essential worker who receives training in 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices, using green-sealed certified supplies and equipment. The role includes cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, removing trash, replenishing restroom supplies, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and reporting facility issues. Duties may vary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required.
• No janitorial experience is required; training is provided.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with social-distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required by the position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices with green-sealed certified supplies and equipment.
• Provide courteous, reliable, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.
