About The Position

4M Building Solutions is hiring a part-time General Cleaner to perform cleaning and disinfecting duties. The role follows a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Team members receive training in 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices and use green-seal-certified supplies and equipment. The description is representative; duties may vary. The position reports to an Account Supervisor or Account Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required; training in 4M best practices is provided.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect using 4M practices, supplies, and equipment.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service.
• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips noticed in the facility.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required by the position and OSHA requirements.
