About The Position

The General Cleaner is a part-time frontline Team Member who performs cleaning and disinfecting duties using 4M’s practices, supplies, and equipment. The role involves maintaining surfaces and facilities, removing trash, replenishing restroom supplies, and reporting maintenance concerns. The position is scheduled Friday through Sunday, 8–12; the posting does not specify whether those times are a.m. or p.m. Duties may vary from this representative description.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required; training in 4M’s best practices is provided.
• Must successfully pass drug screening and a background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Learn and use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices with green-seal-certified supplies and equipment.
• Represent 4M as a reliable, courteous, and resourceful team member.
• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips as they are noticed.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
