About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline Team Member trained in 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices, using green-seal certified supplies and equipment. The role involves cleaning and disinfecting facility surfaces, removing trash, replenishing restroom supplies, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. The cleaner also observes facility conditions and reports repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips. Duties may vary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Learn and use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices, supplies, and equipment.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.
