About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline Team Member who performs cleaning and disinfecting duties using 4M’s practices, green-sealed certified supplies, and equipment. The role involves maintaining facility surfaces and restrooms, removing waste, and reporting maintenance concerns. The description is representative; duties may vary. This is a part-time position for 15 hours per week.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required; training in 4M’s practices is provided.
• Must successfully complete drug screening and a background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect using 4M’s practices, certified supplies, and equipment.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips when noticed.
• Comply with safety guidelines and wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary.
