About The Position

Part-time General Cleaner responsible for keeping building premises clean and orderly. The role involves cleaning floors, windows, mirrors, doors, handles, countertops, tabletops, and restrooms; removing waste; and maintaining cleaning supplies and storage areas. The cleaner must maintain a chart of areas cleaned and inspected, notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or repair needs, and perform other duties as assigned. Applicants must pass a background check.

Requirements

• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and comply with policies.
• Ability to perform physical work and operate power equipment normally used in janitorial operations.

Responsibilities

• Keep building premises clean and orderly.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum building floors.
• Clean windows, mirrors, doors, door handles, countertops, and tabletops.
• Clean and supply restrooms.
• Remove waste and empty trash.
• Maintain a cleaning chart indicating areas cleaned and inspected.
• Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage areas.
• Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or needed repairs or maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
