About The Position

HES Facilities Management is hiring General Cleaners to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas. The role involves performing a range of custodial duties in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, while working efficiently and paying attention to detail. Employees work with others and take direction from a custodial supervisor or designated representative. The position is available as full-time or part-time, and travel is not required.

Requirements

Excellent work history.

Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull.
Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk and stand extensively for the duration of the shift.
Sufficient mobility to complete assigned tasks within company production and service time frames.
Ability to work in temperatures ranging from hot to cold.
Background check required.

Nice To Haves

Previous cleaning experience.
High school degree (preferred, but not required).

Responsibilities

Maintain the daily cleanliness and upkeep of assigned facility areas.
Sweep, dust, dust mop, damp mop, vacuum, extract carpet, and strip and wax floors.
Remove trash and recycling.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
Polish exterior areas within 10 feet of entryways.
Wash windows and clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass, interior glass, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
Remove snow and ice.
Perform other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor or designated representative.
