About The Position

Marsden Central, L.L.C. is hiring a General Cleaner at its Target North Campus in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing restrooms throughout the shift, maintaining presentable facilities, and cleaning floors, surfaces, fixtures, and furniture across the building. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, at $21.25 per hour.

The position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting during an eight-hour shift, including lifting up to 30 pounds. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, able to speak English for safety reasons, reliable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working independently. A pre-employment criminal background check is required.

This is an essential job. Employment requires membership in Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 26, with membership and dues authorization completed upon hire. Employment terms and compensation and benefits are governed or negotiated under the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms throughout the shift, including toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, mirrors, and high-touch areas.
• Sweep and mop restroom floors, empty trash, and restock paper products and soap.
• Make regular rounds to keep restrooms presentable.
• Follow company cleaning procedures, safety rules, and proper chemical-handling practices.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors throughout the building.
• Collect and dispose of waste from bins throughout the building.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Dust, wipe, and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and furniture.
