About The Position

The Gear Issue Customer Service Representative supports LOGSUPPU-2 supply operations by managing warehouse functions including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of Naval Special Warfare gear. This role ensures accurate processing and accountability of equipment and consumables while supporting operational requirements for training and deployment. The position contributes directly to mission readiness by ensuring timely issuance and sustainment of critical gear.

Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance
  • Minimum five (5) years of warehousing and inventory management experience within the Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Inventory systems such as SWALIS, Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), or R-Supply
  • Material handling, receiving, storage, and distribution operations
  • Hazardous material storage, handling, and disposal procedures
  • Possession of a forklift operator license
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Must accurately input and manage data across systems
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain installation access

Responsibilities

  • Perform warehouse management operations, including receiving, stowage, and processing of incoming materials
  • Maintain inventory control and sustainment replenishment of Naval Special Warfare gear
  • Process general service requests and gear issue operations
  • Issue initial load-outs and sustain equipment for training and deployment operations
  • Validate incoming materials for quantity, stock numbers, and condition
  • Process, manage, and transport materials using forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory tracking in SWALIS/DPAS and R-Supply systems
  • Conduct daily reconciliation of issued and received materials
  • Assemble deployment-specific gear packages based on operational requirements
  • Collect and manage sizing requirements for personnel equipment
  • Support return, disposal, and lifecycle management of gear
