Gate Access Control Security Officer
About The Position
The Gate Access Control Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents, protects client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds may be a good fit. The role requires basic computer skills, schedule flexibility, the ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, strong customer service skills, and the ability to meet applicable security-officer licensing requirements. Employment is conditional on passing a drug screen and background check.

- Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
- Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods; duties may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines or uneven terrain.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

- Security experience is preferred.
