About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, in Central New York, is seeking a full-time Advanced Trained BC/BE Gastroenterologist. Join an established group of 5 physicians and 3 advanced practice clinicians. Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region. Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Educational focus – teach and mentor residents and medical students. Call guaranteed to be no more frequent than 1:4. Instant Referral Base provided with over 500 Network Clinicians. Strong interest in clinical G.I. and liver disease.

Requirements

• MD, DO or MBBS
• BC/BE
• Completion of an accredited USA Gastroenterology Fellowship
• New York State Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required

Nice To Haves

• ERCP and EUS skills

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated proficiency in standard GI procedures and testing
• ERCP and EUS skills welcomed but not required
• Teach and mentor residents and medical students
