About The Position
Seeking a Gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage in Greensboro, NC. This role involves inpatient GI coverage and procedures in the Endoscopy Lab at Moses Cone & Wesley Long Hospitals. The position is for weekdays, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends or call required. The patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics, with a case mix of general GI and advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS. APP support is dedicated to the hospital, and specialty backup is available. Trauma levels range from II-IV for adults. EMR system used is Epic.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina License (IMLC Accepted)
- BC Gastroenterology
- DEA Required
- ERCP & EUS Experience Required
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient GI coverage.
- Perform general GI procedures.
- Perform advanced procedures including ERCP and EUS.
- Round on patients.
