About The Position
A leading healthcare system in Jackson, Mississippi is seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join a growing GI program with a balanced inpatient/outpatient practice and strong procedural volume. This position offers a $400,000 base salary, Monday-Friday work schedule, and shared GI call rotation. The role includes opportunities for advanced GI procedures, strong nursing and administrative support, and academic/teaching involvement within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- BC in Gastroenterology
- Active U.S. Medical License
- Active DEA
Responsibilities
- Perform Upper GI endoscopy (EGD)
- Perform Colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Perform ERCP
- Perform EUS
- Perform PEG Placement
- Perform Polypectomy
- Perform Liver Biopsy
- Perform Esophageal Dilation & Stenting
- Perform Advanced Therapeutic GI Procedures
- Balanced inpatient/outpatient practice
- Participate in shared GI call rotation
