About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Gastroenterology Physician at an Acute Care Hospital in Lebanon, PA. The role involves scheduled clinical coverage only, focusing on inpatient hospital-based scopes for adult patients (18+). The coverage period is from September 21, 2026, with specific dates in October 2026. The physician will perform general gastroenterology scoping procedures, excluding ERCP and EUS. The position requires the use of the Epic EMR system, and hospital support staff will be available as needed. This is a scoping-only role with no inpatient or call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active Pennsylvania License Required
• DEA Required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Gastroenterology experience required
• Clean file for temporary privileges

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inpatient hospital-based gastroenterology scoping procedures
• Provide procedural gastroenterology care for adult patients
• Complete accurate and timely documentation within Epic EMR
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure continuity and quality patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital credentialing and procedural requirements
