About The Position
Capital Health is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join Capital Health Gastroenterology Specialists in Hopewell, New Jersey. The position is based at the Hamilton campus, where the practice has an attached state-of-the-art surgery center equipped with the latest technology and equipment. The physician will join a fast-paced, hospital-employed practice with the autonomy of a private-practice setting. The collaborative, physician-led team includes four physicians, two nurse practitioners, and one physician assistant. The role offers opportunities to grow the practice by launching programs and expanding services, as well as mentoring and teaching nurse practitioners and fellows. Capital Health describes the work environment as balanced, with no overly demanding metrics and physician input valued by administration. Capital Health is a two-hospital health system serving a diverse community in central New Jersey, with access to Philadelphia and New York City. The advertised pay range is $493,267–$972,300 for a full-time-equivalent position; actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, credentials, location, and other considerations. Bonus or incentive eligibility depends on role and level.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.

Responsibilities
