About The Position
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for an Open Rank Gastroenterologist with expertise in gastroenterology and endoscopy. Our division has a wide variety of subspecialty focuses, including inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal disease, motility disorders, and advanced endoscopy. Duties include, but are not limited to, endoscopic procedures, clinic visits, and inpatient consults. Outpatient clinic time will occur in Chapel Hill and outreach clinics. The candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills. An interest in clinical research and teaching is desirable. The candidate will be active in the training of GI fellows, residents, and medical students.
Requirements
- MD
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Proficient in gastroenterology and endoscopy
- At least three years of gastroenterology training
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
