Riverside Medical Group is seeking a part-time Gastroenterologist to join our expert team at Riverside Gastroenterology Specialists in Onancock, Virginia. Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Virginia (or eligibility)
- Valid DEA controlled substance registration
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Collaborative approach with other physicians and providers
- Ability to provide guidance to medical staff
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
Responsibilities
- Prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gall bladder.
- Perform Colonoscopy, Upper Endoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG), Bravo 48-Hour pH Monitoring, Esophageal Manometry, and Capsule Endoscopy.
- Utilize Diagnostic Imaging and Scopes.
