About The Position
Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our collaborative and mission-driven team in one of our multiple locations in Virginia. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice in a supportive, patient-centered environment with access to advanced technology, strong referral networks, and a collegial team of specialists. The position involves outpatient practice with inpatient coverage responsibilities, and no weekend call responsibilities. You will collaborate with hospitalists, outpatient physicians, and advanced proceduralists, with support from Advanced Practice Providers in both outpatient and inpatient settings. There is a strong primary care referral base, and the use of the Epic EMR system. Teaching opportunities are available with Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine residents. The role offers attractive base compensation with top-end earning potential, full benefits, malpractice with tail coverage, 6 weeks PTO, a signing bonus, relocation allowance, a final year training stipend, and retention bonuses. New graduates are welcome and mentorship is available.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Successful completion of residency in Internal Medicine
- Successful completion of fellowship in Gastroenterology
- Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Virginia
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Valid DEA registration
