About The Position

The Gas Station Team Member is responsible for daily gas station operations, including opening and closing procedures, monitoring and maintaining equipment, assisting members with transactions and payments, and following safety, environmental, and security standards. The role includes monitoring sales and cash transactions, maintaining cleanliness, completing station reports and checklists, overseeing fuel deliveries, and responding to spills and alarms. Team members also document issues, verify visitors entering the kiosk area, conduct daily competitive price surveys, and ensure posted prices and signage match the point-of-sale system. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. The position requires member-focused service, teamwork, integrity, and compliance with club policies and procedures. The work environment includes exposure to indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions, and occasional exposure to flammable liquids and strong smells. The role may require occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, long periods of sitting or standing, and some bending.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Complete all required training.
Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
Carry out assigned job functions and responsibilities and support club policies, procedures, and compliance.
Act with honesty and integrity, maintain a friendly and positive attitude, and work collaboratively with respect.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional member service and promptly assist members.
Support the safety of people, property, and the environment during gas station transactions.
Monitor gas station sales and handle cash transactions when applicable.
Maintain restroom cleanliness and perform custodial duties as needed.
Monitor gas station reports, ensure reports are generated, and complete station checklist procedures.
Document and address identified issues.
Accurately perform opening and closing procedures.
Regularly monitor and maintain gas station equipment.
Oversee fuel deliveries and perform required preparation procedures.
Follow gas station safety, environmental, and security standards, and notify management and the help desk of alarms.
Perform cash drawer procedures, including deposits, verification, documentation, and control.
Conduct daily competitive price surveys and ensure posted prices and club signage match the POS system.
Follow spill bucket and spilled material procedures, including immediate response and cleanup.
Log visitors and verify proper identification before allowing entry to the kiosk area.
Notify the corporate office about non-routine maintenance vendor visits, including inspectors and state employees.
Follow club policies and procedures and perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments.
Support a safe, positive, inclusive environment and work collaboratively to achieve team goals.
Deliver GOLD Member Standards and GOLD club standards, including friendly service, accurate signage, stocked items, and clean, organized spaces.
