About The Position

Responsible for the daily operation of the gas station, including opening and closing procedures, monitoring and maintaining equipment, assisting members with transactions and payments, and complying with safety, environmental, and security standards. The role also involves monitoring sales and reports, handling cash procedures, supporting fuel deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, and addressing operational issues. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. Team members may perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to complete all required training.
• Previous gas station operating experience preferred.
• Experience operating a cash register preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service and promptly assist members.
• Ensure the safety of people, property, and the environment while assisting with gas station transactions.
• Monitor gas station sales transactions and handle cash transactions when applicable.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and perform custodial duties as needed.
• Monitor gas station reporting, ensure reports are generated, and complete gas station checklist procedures.
• Document and address identified issues.
• Accurately perform opening and closing procedures.
• Regularly monitor and maintain gas station equipment.
• Oversee fuel deliveries and perform required preparation procedures.
• Follow gas station safety, security, and environmental standards, and inform management and the help desk when alarms are present.
• Perform cash drawer procedures, including deposits, verification, documentation, and control.
• Conduct daily competitive price surveys and ensure posted gas prices and club signage match POS pricing.
• Follow spill bucket and spilled-material procedures, including immediate response and cleanup.
• Log visitors and verify proper identification before allowing access to the kiosk area.
• Notify the corporate office of non-routine maintenance vendor visits, including visits by weights and measures personnel, inspectors, and state employees.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Attend required training and maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Support club policies, procedures, and compliance; act with honesty and integrity; and escalate member concerns as appropriate.
• Help maintain a safe, positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for members and team members.
• Deliver service excellence, resolve or de-escalate member concerns, and follow GOLD Member Standards.
• Work as a team to meet GOLD club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Access and understand production or financial performance reporting and the relationship between consistent execution and business results.
