About The Position

Responsible for the daily operation of the gas station, including opening and closing procedures, monitoring and maintaining equipment, assisting members with transactions and payments, and complying with safety, environmental, and security standards. The role also includes fuel delivery preparation, cash handling, maintaining station cleanliness, and supporting club policies and procedures. Team members may be assigned other duties, including working in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to complete all required training.
• Previous gas station operating experience preferred.
• Experience operating a cash register preferred.
• Ability to meet the job’s physical and environmental conditions, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., prolonged sitting or standing, some bending, and occasional exposure to flammable liquids and strong smells.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service and promptly assist members with gas station transactions while ensuring the safety of people, property, and the environment.
• Monitor gas station sales transactions and handle cash transactions when applicable.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and perform custodial duties as needed.
• Monitor gas station reporting, generate reports, complete checklist procedures, and document and address identified issues.
• Accurately perform opening and closing procedures.
• Regularly monitor and maintain gas station equipment.
• Oversee fuel delivery and perform required preparation procedures.
• Follow safety, environmental, and security standards; understand station safety and security features; and inform management and the help desk when alarms are present.
• Perform cash drawer procedures, including cash deposits, verification, documentation, and control procedures.
• Conduct daily competitive price surveys and ensure posted gas prices and club signage match pricing in the point-of-sale system.
• Follow spill-bucket and spilled-material procedures, including immediate response and cleanup.
• Log visitors and verify proper identification before allowing access to the kiosk area; notify the corporate office of non-routine maintenance vendor visits.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
• Support club policies, procedures, and compliance; promote honesty, integrity, safety, inclusion, collaboration, and a positive environment.
• Deliver service excellence, address and deescalate member concerns, and uphold GOLD Member Standards.
• Work as a team to maintain GOLD club standards, including stocked items, executed promotional plans, accurate signage, and clean, organized spaces.
• Access and read departmental production or financial performance reports and understand how consistent execution affects the business.
