About The Position

Alliance HCM is hiring a full-time Garnishment Specialist in The Woodlands, Texas. The role manages payroll withholding requirements by reviewing court orders, wage garnishments, tax levies, and child support orders and accurately entering them into payroll systems. The specialist determines withholding amounts, prepares notices and response forms, and communicates with courts, creditors, and employees as needed. The position also ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and audits garnishment setups to support accurate payroll processing.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience processing wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and bankruptcy notices.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local garnishment and wage withholding laws; knowledge of the federal CCPA is mentioned as preferred.
