About The Position

The Seasonal Garden Shop Attendant works in the Christmas Tree Shop. The role involves preparing and selling Christmas trees, assisting customers with tree selection, and helping maintain an organized and safe receiving area. The attendant supports inventory activities and coordinates with sales associates, managers, and greenhouse staff to maintain product flow and availability. This seasonal position runs until the end of December and pays $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work outdoors and in cold temperatures.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of garden center products is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Cut, tag, and tie Christmas trees.
Help customers choose a tree and provide recommendations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area in accordance with company safety guidelines.
Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
Collaborate with sales associates, managers, and greenhouse staff to support product flow and availability.
Follow safety standards and equipment-operation protocols.
Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
Work with team members to support smooth store operations.
Help improve and maintain store efficiency.
Represent the store and its S.T.E.W. values in interactions with customers and team members.
