About The Position

The Garage Lot Attendant creates a positive impression for guests by engaging with them in a friendly manner and safely parking and retrieving vehicles in a parking garage or similar facility. The role involves maintaining organization, tracking vehicles and keys, and contributing to a positive environment for customers and teammates. Attendants must meet uniform and grooming standards, follow attendance and communication policies, assist with shift transitions, and perform assigned cleaning duties.

Requirements

• Be friendly and outgoing, with an upbeat personality, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Smile during customer interactions and be able to create relationships with customers.
• Maintain uniform standards while on the job premises.
• Be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
• Be able to run and move quickly and stand for long periods.
• Be able to organize cars efficiently.
• Safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
• Have an organized approach to work.
• Have a clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's current insurance provider.
