About The Position

The Garage Attendant makes a positive impression on guests by engaging with them in a friendly manner and safely parking and retrieving vehicles in a parking garage or similar facility. The role includes maintaining the organization of the operation, tracking cars and keys, providing an exceptional guest experience, and completing assigned cleaning duties. Attendants are expected to maintain professional communication, appearance, and uniform standards; follow the attendance policy; and help facilitate the transition at the end of a shift.

Requirements

Friendly and outgoing, with an upbeat personality, strong work ethic, and willingness to go the extra mile.
Able to smile during customer interactions and build relationships with customers.
Maintain uniform standards while on the job premises.
Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
Ability to run and move quickly.
Ability to organize cars efficiently.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
At least 18 years of age.
Able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
Organized.
Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE’s current insurance provider.
