About The Position

The Garage Fueler/Spotter position is based in Edmond, Oklahoma, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The role involves backing delivery equipment to assigned dock doors using a detailed list specifying equipment sizes and door numbers. The employee fuels equipment with the proper fuel, records mileage, gallons, and equipment numbers legibly, and maneuvers tractor-trailers through a wash bay to wash the equipment. The position also requires recognizing trailer lengths at a glance and completing assigned tasks accurately. Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. The company uses dash cameras that leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events, improve driver safety performance, and exonerate drivers in accidents. Drivers sign a consent form upon hire confirming their understanding of the camera use.

Requirements

Ability to back a tractor-trailer to dock doors.
Ability to maneuver equipment through a narrow wash bay.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Flexibility to adapt to change.
No criminal record.
At least 6 months of heavy-equipment truck-driving experience.
High school graduate or GED.
Ability to perform extensive walking and climb in and out of vehicles.
