About The Position

Garage Door Doctor is hiring a Garage Door Technician based out of its Indianapolis office. The family-owned company serves Indianapolis and the surrounding metro area, providing residential, commercial, and industrial garage door installation, maintenance, and opener replacement services. This role is suited to an experienced technician or someone who is mechanically inclined and eager to learn. The technician supports customers with repairs, installations, and troubleshooting while delivering professional, empathetic, solution-oriented service. Compensation is expected to total $50,000–$80,000, with starting training pay of $20–$25 per hour. Candidates must complete pre-employment background and drug screenings and a motor vehicle record check. Reasonable accommodations may be available to qualified individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift 75 pounds or more, climb ladders, and use hand tools.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt to different situations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset.
