About The Position
A Plus Garage Doors is seeking an apprentice to join its residential garage door installation team. Based in West Valley City, Utah, the apprentice assists experienced installers on larger jobs and receives hands-on training to develop the skills needed to become a full-fledged Garage Door Installer. The work includes assembling and installing residential garage doors and components such as tracks, rollers, and openers. Work takes place at customer locations throughout Utah.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with one year of experience required.
- Ability to pass a drug screening, reference check, background screening, and motor vehicle record check.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Basic experience with hand and power tools is preferred; training is provided.

Responsibilities
- Assist experienced installers on larger residential garage door installation jobs.
