About The Position
A Plus Garage Doors is hiring an apprentice to join its installation team, based in West Valley City, Utah. The apprentice assists experienced installers on larger jobs and receives hands-on training to develop the skills needed to become a Garage Door Installer. Work includes assembling and installing residential garage doors and components such as tracks, rollers, and openers. The role involves working at customer locations throughout Utah and requires a hardworking, eager-to-learn, team-oriented approach. Applicants must complete a brief prerecorded interview.
Requirements
- Basic experience with hand and power tools is preferred; training is provided.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with one year of experience required.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and reference check.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Undergo pre-employment background and drug screenings and a motor vehicle record check.
