Enforces company guest safety regulations, ensures a controlled and safe environment at the facility, and responds to medical situations. This role involves safeguarding the facility's assets, enforcing state gaming regulations, and preparing various reports. The Gaming Safety Officer also serves as a customer service representative, greeting guests, providing information about casino programs and amenities, and building guest relations. Responsibilities include monitoring the collection and transport of Drop Boxes, reporting improper or illegal acts, and potentially training new security officers. The role requires handling customer interactions with a consistently outgoing and cheerful demeanor, resolving routine complaints, and ensuring guests feel welcome and invited back. The officer patrols the casino floor, utilizing open body language, and politely assists guests. Adherence to policies and the ability to resolve guest disputes up to a pre-determined amount are essential, with escalation to management when necessary. Cross-training in other departments may also be required.
