Gaming Associate
About The Position
Knighted Gaming is hiring entry-level Gaming Associates to work at a local card room in Jacksonville, Florida. Gaming Associates sit at live card table games, monitor play, verify payouts, calculate bonuses, and regulate game rules for games such as Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Three-Card Poker. They work alongside dealers and help maintain a positive, professional atmosphere for guests and coworkers. Casino experience is not required; ongoing paid training is provided in gaming, leadership, and customer service. The role is full-time and requires flexible availability, including weekends and late nights.
Requirements
- Professionalism, integrity, maturity, and respect in interactions.
- Customer-service orientation and ability to maintain a positive, professional gaming atmosphere.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Comfort with basic math, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication without a calculator.
- Dependable and flexible availability for afternoon, evening, late-night, and weekend shifts; weekend and late-night availability is required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass a thorough background and credit check.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor live casino card games.
- Verify payouts and calculate bonuses.
- Regulate the rules of card games, including Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Three-Card Poker.
- Work alongside dealers while maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere for guests and coworkers.
