About The Position

Join TransPerfect Games for an exciting remote opportunity as a Game Linguist, specializing in ZHCN>EN game localization. This full-cycle role covers in-game UI, storylines, character dialogue, marketing copy, linguistic LQA, narrative polishing, cross-cultural adaptation, and creative brainstorming with game teams. The position requires hands-on game localization experience and native/near-native English proficiency.

Requirements

• Hands-on game localization experience
• Native/near-native English speakers
• A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)
• 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree
• 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)
• A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body

Nice To Haves

• Mobile game playing experience is recommended
• Experience with games on other platforms is also welcome
