About The Position

Game Guides at The Escape Game are hospitality-focused team members who lead guests through immersive escape-room games and help make each visit fun and memorable. They introduce games to groups of 2–12 guests, connect with visitors of all ages, and use Game Guide software to monitor gameplay and assist teams as needed. They also operate games using a human-machine interface, celebrate with guests after each game, and accurately and efficiently reset game components. This is a seasonal role with work that includes nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Requirements

Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to perform job-related physical activities, including deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30–40 pounds, and minor game repairs.
Ability to use small tools and strong magnets when resetting games.
Ability to reset numerous locks, drawers, shelves, and game components within time frames specified in training.
Excellent communication skills when speaking with guests.
Ability to align with the company’s Uniform Standards.

Responsibilities

Embody the company’s mission, vision, and values during every shift.
Lead groups of 2–12 guests in friendly conversation and make meaningful connections with them.
Explain the company’s games and products enthusiastically.
Use Game Guide software to monitor games and assist guests.
Use the human-machine interface to operate games.
Recap the experience during the outro and celebrate with guests.
Ensure game components function properly and reset games accurately using setup sheets.
Clean games and the facility, restock inventory, complete required reports, and keep assigned games on schedule.
Resolve service failures immediately and graciously.
Help ensure every guest has a five-star experience and leaves happy.
