About The Position

Game Guides are hospitality-focused team members who anticipate and meet guest needs and help make each visit fun and memorable. They lead guests through immersive escape-room games, introducing groups of 2–12 to the experience, monitoring game progress with TEG software, and assisting guests as needed. After each game, they celebrate with guests, recap the experience, and reset game components accurately and efficiently. They also support day-to-day operations by maintaining games and facilities, restocking inventory, completing reports, and resolving service issues.

Requirements

Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to perform job-related physical activities, including deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30–40 pounds, and minor game repairs.
Ability to use small tools and strong magnets when resetting games.
Ability to reset numerous locks, drawers, shelves, and game components quickly within time frames established in training.
Excellent communication skills when speaking with guests.
Ability to align with TEG’s Uniform Standards.

Responsibilities

Lead groups of 2–12 guests in friendly conversation and introduce them to the games and products.
Collect information from guests and build meaningful connections.
Use Game Guide software to monitor games and assist guests.
Use the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) to operate games.
Recap the experience during the outro and celebrate with guests after the game.
Ensure game components function properly and reset games accurately using setup sheets.
Clean games and the facility, restock inventory, and complete necessary reports.
Manage time effectively and keep assigned games on schedule.
Resolve service failures promptly and graciously, and help ensure guests leave happy.
Represent the company’s mission, vision, and values during every shift.
