About The Position

Game Guides at The Escape Game provide a fun, memorable guest experience by leading guests through immersive escape-room games. They warmly welcome groups of 2–12, introduce the game in an upbeat and conversational way, connect with guests of all ages, and explain the games and products. During gameplay, they use Game Guide software to monitor teams and assist guests, and use a human-machine interface (HMI) to operate games. Afterward, they celebrate with guests, recap the experience, and reset game components accurately and efficiently. They also help maintain the facility and ensure games run on schedule and operate properly. The position is seasonal and located at Fashion Place.

Requirements

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to handle job-related physical activity, including deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30–40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
Ability to use small tools and strong magnets when resetting games.
Ability to reset numerous locks, drawers, shelves, and game components quickly within time frames established in training.
Excellent communication skills when speaking with guests.
Ability to align with The Escape Game’s Uniform Standards.

Responsibilities

Embody the company’s mission, vision, and values during every shift.
Lead groups of 2–12 guests in friendly conversation and make meaningful connections with them.
Explain games and products to guests.
Use Game Guide software to monitor games and assist guests.
Use the HMI to operate games.
Recap the experience during the outro and celebrate with guests after the game.
Ensure game components function properly and reset games accurately using setup sheets.
Clean games and the facility.
Manage time effectively to keep assigned games on schedule.
Restock inventory and complete necessary reports.
Resolve service failures immediately and graciously.
Help ensure every guest has a five-star experience and leaves happy.
