About The Position

The Game Day Operations Associate provides statistical and broadcasting support for athletics events. The role supports live event coverage through statistical scoring and play-by-play broadcasting, using NCAA scoring software, broadcast production technology, and related game-day systems. The position requires candidates to live or relocate within daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus upon hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience with play-by-play and/or stat keeping at the college level, or other related experience.
• Must live or relocate to live within daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide live statistical scoring and data management for assigned athletic events using NCAA-approved scoring software and related technology platforms.
• Coordinate and deliver live broadcasts for intercollegiate athletic contests, including accurate and engaging play-by-play commentary.
• Operate and support game production systems and equipment, including statistical software, broadcast platforms, and audiovisual technology used during athletic events.
• Maintain accurate game records and reporting by compiling, reviewing, and distributing statistics, scores, and other event-related information in accordance with NCAA, conference, and institutional standards.
• Collaborate with athletics staff, game officials, coaches, and event personnel to support smooth game-day operations and a positive experience for participants and spectators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
