About The Position

A family in Saratoga, California is seeking a reliable caregiver for their 10- and 13-year-old children. The children are fairly independent, and the caregiver will supervise them and ensure their safety. Care is occasional, typically 1–4 times per month, with no guaranteed hours. Shifts are at least four hours and take place between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM, any day Monday through Sunday. The position is long-term and is scheduled to start in December 2026. Compensation is $45 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience.
• CPR certified or willing to become certified.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting.
• Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the children’s safety.
• Supervise the children while they play indoors.
• Supervise the children while they play in the backyard.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the children, including washing dishes and keeping their wardrobes organized.
