About The Position
A family in Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking a warm, engaging, and reliable caregiver for their 2-week-old baby while the mother is at work. Care is occasional, typically 1–4 times per month, with no guaranteed hours. Shifts may be on weekdays or weekends, anytime between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and must be at least four hours long. The position is long-term and is expected to start between November 11 and November 18, 2026. Compensation is $30 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of paid, professional infant care experience.
- CPR certified or willing to become certified.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting.
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening.
Responsibilities
- Bottle-feed the baby.
- Change diapers.
- Facilitate nap times.
- Engage the baby in age-appropriate activities.
- Take the baby for walks in the stroller.
