GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training. This role involves technical integration between simulation and C4I systems, establishing and maintaining training and exercise networks, and accomplishing Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities. The JLVC Technician will help build and enable the readiness of the Nation's Army in the Arctic by integrating LVC systems so commanders and staff can train against realistic scenarios, improving training realism by reducing simulation disconnects and technical limitations, and ensuring that Army and Joint simulations can exchange information and operate together. The position requires configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting Linux-based simulation systems, applying system updates, patches, and adjusting configurations to resolve user issues. It also involves executing and supporting training events, implementing the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP/Risk Management Framework-DIACAP/ RMF), and providing rapid technical support during high-visibility training exercises. A comprehensive IT understanding including operating systems, networking, virtualization, and security practices, with hands-on experience administering both Windows and Linux environments is essential. The role also participates in special projects as required.
