About The Position

HM Richards is a financially stable, 28-year-old upholstery and furniture manufacturing company focused on expansion. The company’s mission is to make beautiful furniture while continually reducing its environmental footprint through planet-friendly materials and processes. This role is based at the company’s Guntown, Mississippi location. The employee completes work assignments as needed and ensures the quality of their work on a daily basis. They communicate with their supervisor about questions or problems, work with other employees to support a team atmosphere, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and keep the work area clean and orderly. They also perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience working in a furniture manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of an assembly-line type environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to submit to a drug test and background investigation.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Complete work assignments as needed and ensure the quality of work on a daily basis.
Communicate with the supervisor about questions or problems encountered while performing the job.
Work closely with other employees to maintain a team atmosphere.
