About The Position

HM Richards, a financially stable upholstery and furniture manufacturing company focused on expansion, is hiring a Frame Springer at its Guntown, Mississippi location. The company’s mission is to make beautiful furniture while reducing its environmental footprint through planet-friendly materials and processes.

The Frame Springer assists frame assemblers by attaching springs to sofa and chair frames using webbing, back decking, seat decking, a staple gun, and a pogo gun. The role receives frames from frame assemblers, applies webbing and decking, centers and staples springs into frames, applies seat decking or fiber, and stacks frames in the appropriate area. The position also performs other duties as instructed by the supervisor.

The pay range is $20.40–$21.90 per hour. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and able to submit to a drug test and background investigation. HM Richards is an equal opportunity employer and states that it does not discriminate on protected grounds.

Requirements

• Knowledge of an assembly-line type environment.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 months of experience working in a furniture manufacturing environment building frames is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive sofa or chair frames from frame assemblers.
• Apply webbing to the back of frames using scissors and a staple gun.
• Apply back decking to cover the webbing and staple it securely to the frame.
• Center springs evenly in sofa or chair frames and attach them using a pogo gun.
• Apply seat decking or fiber onto springs using a staple gun.
• Stack frames in the proper area as needed.
• Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor.
