Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma or equivalent or in the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimals
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use multiple computer applications (including email, internet, and other job-specific applications).
  • This job requires a U.S. Person.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with measurement equipment, i.e. gauges, calipers, etc.
  • Experience with basic hand tools.
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and following blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Use a variety racking methods to process parts.
  • Prepare parts for shipment to customers.
  • Perform machine setup and runs on annealing furnaces and degreasers.
  • Cleaning, racking and heat treating of components
  • Read, interpret, and comprehend, process prints, engineering and quality standards, and other informational drawings and work instructions.
  • Monitor part specific dimensional tolerances while performing the operation & identify non-conforming part features
  • Maintain accurate documentation and system inputs (shop traveler, labor charging, production tracking software, inspection results, etc.)
  • Identify and report process inefficiencies, machine issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Follow work priorities to accomplish production goals
  • Can handle contact with coolants, cleaning fluids, and oils (petroleum-based products) and chemical vapors from products during the normal manufacturing
  • Obtain and maintain required Inspection Certification(s)
  • Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned
