About The Position

Snyder Funeral Homes is seeking an ambitious Funeral Sales Representative to join their team. This role offers the security of a base salary, pre-set appointments, and uncapped commission potential in a recession-proof industry. You will be supported by a dedicated team for lead generation, appointment setting, and marketing resources. The position involves selling life insurance, specifically preneed policies, to families in the Central Ohio region. You will represent a trusted, family-owned business with a long history in the community.

Requirements

• Applicable State Insurance License and Preneed License/Certification (where applicable)
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or 1-2 years of in-person sales experience, preferably in a senior market
• Strong relationship development and communication skills
• Ability to sell effectively over the phone and in-person
• Comfort with, and interest in, working inside a funeral home

Responsibilities

• Close pre-set appointments to sell life insurance policies.
• Develop community connections and increase earning potential.
• Represent a trusted name in the community.
• Work with a 50+ person appointment-setting team, dedicated field management, and marketing strategies.
• Utilize life insurance license from day one.
• Sell effectively over the phone and in-person.
• Work inside a funeral home.
