About The Position

Public Outreach is hiring Face-to-Face Fundraisers to work on behalf of leading nonprofit organizations across Boston. You’ll speak with members of the public in busy streets, neighborhoods, and community areas, sharing important campaigns and inspiring people to become monthly supporters. No fundraising experience is required. We provide full paid training. If you’ve worked in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, events, or other people-facing roles, this job is a strong fit.

Requirements

• 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to commit to 4 shifts per week (30+ hours)
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Strong communication skills
• Positive, reliable, and coachable
• Comfortable speaking with strangers regularly
• Able to work in a goal-driven environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, canvassing, or nonprofit work is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities
