About The Position
We are hiring Face-to-Face Fundraisers to represent leading nonprofit organizations across New York City. Your job is to have real conversations with people in busy public spaces, share important nonprofit campaigns in a clear, engaging way, and encourage people to become long-term monthly supporters. This is a people-first, conversation-driven role—not a desk job. Every shift is active, social, and different. Many of our strongest team members come directly from restaurants, bars, cafés, retail stores, and customer service roles because this job rewards the same strengths you already have: communication, energy, resilience, people skills, and emotional intelligence. The difference is—you’re not just serving customers anymore; you're helping support nonprofit organizations working on human rights, environmental protection, poverty relief, and social justice initiatives.
Requirements
- Comfortable speaking with new people all day
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Can stay positive in fast-paced environments
- Enjoy being active rather than sitting at a desk
- Want stable hourly pay and long-term opportunity
- Availability for at least 3 full 7.5-hour shifts per week
- Both weekday and weekend availability are required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in restaurants, bars, cafés, retail, or hospitality
- Full-time availability is strongly preferred
